Garlic Sugar Snap Peas

Taking only a whopping 5 minutes to make from start to finish, this is a fantastic side dish to a lunch or dinner.  Sugar snap peas are crisp and sweet.  They can be eaten raw or cooked up like in this recipe.  They taste best when they are not overcooked which is why this recipe falls under the category of one of my “quick recipes”.  Most stores conveniently sell them in packages (about 4 C) and pre-washed.  All you need to do it a VERY little prep and a few minutes of cooking.

Start by heating up 1 Tbsp of olive oil.  When it is hot, throw in the snap peas.  Toss them every 30 seconds and repeat for a few minutes.  They should remain crisp and bright green.

After about 2-3 minutes, add some minced garlic and season with your favourite salt.  I like a smokey sea salt combined with a bit of heat from chipotle sea salt.  Toss for 30 seconds more until coated and you are done!

Easy peasy!
