This simple and delicious chocolate glaze pairs nicely with the flourless chocolate cake. The ingredients are combined to create a thick, velvety glaze which can be flavoured with extracts of choice. Once the glaze has set, the cake can be garnished with a variety of toppings ranging from nuts to berries, coconut or mint leaves.
Melt butter chocolate just until chocolate is liquid. Do not over melt. Remove from heat and stir in flavouring and coconut cream. Pour over cooled cake.
3 ounces dark chocolate chips
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp coconut cream
vanilla, mint or other extract flavouring (optional)
1. Melt chocolate and butter over low-medium heat.
2. Stir in coconut milk and flavouring.
3. Let cool a few minutes to firm up and make it easier to spread.
